DP83849I: Is DP83849 available for just using Port A or PortB?

Part Number: DP83849I

Using PortA and PortB in one time, DP83849 is working.

but just using Port A or PortB, the PHY is not working.

i want to know the reason, any suggestion is welcome?

Hi Kelly,

Can you provide more details on the PHY not working, is it not powering up or not linking up? Can you share the schematics?

Hii,
I am new to ethernet devices. My aim is to form daisy chain network, where i need ethernet device with two PHY ports Port a and port B. My system comprises of one main system microcontroller MSP430F6. Whatever data i receive on PORTA have to get shared on PORTB along with additional data from MSP430F6.
Please suggest me the suitable device for my application.
