DS90UB953-Q1: Test Pattern during Built-In Self Test

Hi,

I have question about Built-In Self Test(BIST) of DS90UB953-Q1.

During BIST, what kind of test pattern will DS90UB953-Q1 output?
Is it PRBS7 ?

In other FlatLinkIII product such as DS90UB933-Q1,
in the datasheet it said it will output PRBS7 test pattern.
So, I guess DS90UB953-Q1 will also output PRBS7 test pattern, is it correct?

Hi g.f.,

The DS90UB953-Q1 also outputs a pseudo-random sequence.

From the DS90UB953-Q1 datasheet in section 7.3.4.4 Built-In Self Test: "The serializer outputs a continuous stream of a pseudo-random sequence and drives the link at speed."

Thank you for the reply.
I already check the DS90UB953-Q1 datasheet and I know the above description which you attached.
The datasheet only said "pseudo-random sequence". So, which pattern are used ? PRBS7? PRSB15? ...etc.

As I mention at previous post, other FPD-Link III products(DS90UB933-Q1) output PRBS7.
Please check the datasheet of DS90UB933-Q1.
DS90UB953-Q1 is also FPD-Link III products, so I guess it will also output PRBS7.
