Hi team,

When use ds90ub954-q1+ds90ub953-q1,how to select the mode option? We want to use "STP CSI-2 synchronous Back Channel" mode, but no this option in the ds90ub954-q1 datasheet mode option list table(Table 1 at page 25).
However, I saw in ds90ub953-q1 datasheet page 59 showing this option in Table 126.
In that way, I need to know whether ds90ub954-q1 have the mode option of "STP CSI-2 synchronous Back Channel". Please help to confirm. Thanks!

    Hello,

    Yes this option is available, but must be programmed by I2C. Mode selection by pin strap is only available for the cases listed in table 1. Other modes are by programming I2C register. Per the note under table 1 in teh 954 datasheet.

    The strapped values can be viewed and/or modified in the following locations:
    • Coax – Port Configuration COAX_MODE (Register 0x6D[2])
    • RX Mode – Port Configuration FPD3_MODE (Register 0x6D[1:0])
