TUSB9261-Q1: Demo board SPI Memory: obsolete

Part Number: TUSB9261-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB9261

Hello,

we are using the TUSB9261-Q1 chip on some of our boards.

We followed the design reference of the Demo Board, using the SPI Memory Pm25LV512A, from Micron Technology.

We discovered that this Memory is now obsolete.

We would like to know if Texas recommends a new PN memory to replace it.

Thank you

Pierluigi

  • Hello Pierluigi,

You can use the 25PO5VP instead of the obsolete part.

    Regards,
    Roberto
  • Hello Roberto,

    thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, even the 25P05VP is obsolete.

I have to be more precise, in our board we used the PN M25P16-VMP6 of Micron Technology (we used that because of the example of USB Type-C HDD With USB Power Delivery Reference Design where the TUSB9261 is used).

This memory is obsolete, so we are looking for an ACTIVE alternative.

    Can you help us?

    Thanks
    Pierluigi Caputo
