My ctm design DS90UB926 to get the FPD-LINK signal. They want to get the RGB888 and pass it to the DSP. To debug DS90UB926, they bought a DS90UB929 EVB to get the LVDS source to pass to DS90UB926.
So the signal chain is HDMI->LVDS->LVDS->RGB888.
Ctm can use ALP(software) to config DS90UB929 EVB.
If ctm use the 929EVB to generate a test patten, their 926 can get the right signal. Everything is OK.
But if through HDMI, turn off the test patten, 926 can only get the hsync, Vsync, Pclk. But all data is 0.
What's the problem? Is it caused by the HDMI source? if the HDMI source can't auto fit from EDID, which 720P format should be selected?
Pls kindly help, thanks.
Hi Piero,
for the hs/vs timing, is it correct?
can you check the UB929's 0x5a? the hdmi input is correct? thanks.
best regards,
Steven
Dear Steven,
The hs/vs timing seems correct, and changed if different resolution.
0X5A is 11011101, means input HDMI is detected.

The video data is correct and everything is OK when I use pattern test,But when I use ecternal video source (eg.PC),HS/VS/CLK is correct but the video data is always 0.I will check the UB926's CMLOUTPUT signal later.
Currently, 926 can get the data, but the image moves as the attached video.
Seems the problem caused by the clk not locked?
Any suggestion? Thanks.
Dear Steven,
Another question,if ctm dont need the audio data, can 926 only output video without video blanking?
Any intenal reigster can be set to do this? Thanks.
