RTOS/TCAN1042HV: TCAN1042HV rise time and fall time MAX/MIN timing

Usually to understand the timing behavior of a CAN transceiver the best specs to look at are the total loop delay and the bit timing specifications; these include the rise and fall times as one component and do have min/max values listed in the device datasheet. For your reference, though, I can tell you the minimum and maximum values we recorded for these parameters when initially characterizing this device:

Differential output signal rise time
o Minimum measurement: 29.1 ns
o Maximum measurement: 52.5 ns

Differential output signal fall time
o Minimum measurement: 28.4 ns
o Maximum measurement: 59.3 ns
