TLK10031: looking for low power device from Xaui ( 4x 3.125G) to 10G SFP interface

Hi Team,

My customer is looking for low power device from Xaui (4x 3.125G) to 10G SFP interface one channel, use case: portable application,

I have found TLK10031 and it seems appropriate but I'm not sure the power consumption of 800 mW will be ideal for battery operated application, is there any other solution you could recommend?
I would like to hear your perception about it, Thanks.

Hi Shai,

The TLK10031 meets your requirements for XAUI <==> SFI/XFI operation. As you mentioned the typical power dissipation of this device is ~800mW, although it has power down feature when the device is not operating to save power. Unfortunately we do not have another solution below of 800mW for this kind of application.
