DS90UB964 Cam + Pattern generator

Hello,

I'm working on deserializer's pattern generator. I created a pattern and forward it to VC 1 and need to add one camera to VC 0. In order to do this I have three question about deserializer:

1. Is it possible to get image from camera and generated pattern at same time in different VCs as i described above?

2. what will be the output, when VC 0 and VC 2 used and VC 1 is empty?

3. is there any more document about Pattern Generator on DS90UB964 instead of the information in datasheet.

    Hello,

    1- I do not think this would be possible. you can use either the Patgen or the input video.

    2- I am not sure what will be the output. it is recommended to use VC in sequence, 0 ..1..2..3

    3- Unfortunately not. But it is explained in the data sheet and there is a working example.
