HD3SS3220: SDA/OUT1 and SCL/OUT2 floating?

Part Number: HD3SS3220

I have an application where I am using the HD3SS3220 with the ADDR pin floating, so I2C is disabled. I am not planning on using the SDA/OUT1 or SCL/OUT2 pins. Can I leave these floating or do these need to be pulled up?

Hi Matt,

Since SDA/OUT1, SCL/OUT2 and INT_N/OUT3 are open drain output a pull-up resistor must be placed (4.7k is the recommended value).

I am not going to be using the I2C functionality nor the output functionality. I won't be using these pins at all. Can I float them?

Hello Matt,

Yes, you can leave them floating in GPIO mode.
