Hi,

Data sheet p34 has a function called Fast Link Detect,
When using this function, how long is the link-up time?

As required specifications, link-up is required on the "order of several msec".

    Hi cafain,

    What specifications are you referencing when you say 'link-up is required on the "order of several msec"'? Is this your system requirements?

    In order to link up on the order of several msec, forced link mode should be used, where the link speed, the link duplex, and the MDIX setting is forced by the system. Forcing link speed only works in 10M and 100M speeds. Auto-negotiation is required for 1000M operation.
