TCA9555: About leakage from I/O to Vcc...

Dears,

Below is customer schematics.

As customer question, while P00~P07 input signal exist but Vcc did not supplied, is there any leakage from P00~P07 to Vcc?

I cannot find any related statement in datasheet.

Please help to clarify it.

    Hello Peter,

    There will be some leakage current from the 100 k ohm internal pull-up resesistors on each port assuming that Vcc is held to ground and the Vport is held to a certain voltage level.  It will simply be voltage across the pull up resistor divided by the resistance value of the pull up.  Not pull up resistance tolerance is wide and can be as much as +/- 20-40%. 

    Let me know if this isn't clear.  Sigure 23 to show the I/O port schematic showing 100k Ohm from I/O to Vcc.
