SN65LVCP408: Bandwidth and using for switching PCIe Gen4 ref clock 100MHz

Hi Saril,

The SN65LVCP408 outputs are not compatible with the PCIe clock standard.  I would suggest using the LMK00334 or LMK0338 for switching and buffering the PCIe clock.  The CDCI6214 is a good choice for PCIe clock generation.

Hi Lee,

This is for proprietary application and I am not looking for complying to PCIe HCSL spec etc. Let me know if this device can handle 100MHz differential clock signals.

We are interfacing the cross point switch outputs to LVDS input on our FPGA.

we were using the device DS10CP154ATSQ in the previous version of our product I am working on and I need to move to an 8x8 device and that's were I have this question on using the device SN65LVCP408. Appreciate your timely help on this.

Let me know if you can confirm on the lowest signal freq the device can properly handle. Also could you pls connect me to Local FAE here at Santa Clara, CA. I would like to borrow an evaluation board and test this myself.
