Hi Sir 

My customer want use TUSB4041 hub and connect 2  power switch ic that also have I2C interface. the connect way as attached file.

My customer want to know if the host can use I2C to read down stream port "power switch status data"(to monitor power switch ic status)?  or if there have any suggestion?

    I am not sure to understand the customer implementation. Can you please elaborate a little bit further?
    What device will be the I2C master on this implementation? What registers will be read and with what purpose?

    The I2C bus on TUSB4041 was designed with the only purpose of loading a custom configuration on the device (either through an external EEPROM or SMBus master).
