A customer of ours is using a SN65HVD10 for RS485. He’s having issues with the output where it shorts to 3.3V and also Ground.
They think it’s an ESD issue, but they want to know if TI has any recommendations on how to protect against ESD for this device?
Any suggestions on how to properly protect this device from ESD? Is there an equivalent part in same package with higher ESD rating or higher level of protection?
