DS250DF410EVM: SigCon connectivity USB

Part Number: DS250DF410EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS125DF111, USB2ANY

Hi ,

I got DS250DF410EVM  .

I installed SigCon and DS125DF111_Updater and connected the board to the computer with USB.

When i open "SigCon" It says "There are no USB2ANY interfaces detected"

the device manager recognized the board as "USB input device "

Should i install USB2ANY driver ? or do somthing else ?

How to operate it well ?

thanks,

elimelech

  • Hi Elimelech,

I'm interested to know if it's possible that the DS250DF410EVM you have received may not have been preloaded with USB2ANY firmware. If not, this would explain why SigCon Architect is not detecting a USB2ANY interface.

After connecting power to the DS250DF410EVM, connect your USB cable from computer to the miniUSB port on the board (J22). What do you see green LED (D9) doing? There are typically three possible results, which will give us insight about what is going on:

    1. LED flashes a few times, then remains on, solid: USB2ANY is connected successfully to PC.

    2. LED flashes continually: Issue in connection due to host control timeout or bad quality USB cable.

    3. LED slow turns on and after several seconds is a solid green: No firmware loaded on the USB2ANY.

Please let us know if the LED behaves in any of these three ways so that we can proceed further with debug.

    Regards,

    Michael

  • Hi  Michael ,

It seems that the third option happens .

The led doesn't flashes at all , after connecting to USB it is solid green.

how do I solve it  ?

    thanks ,

    Elimelech.

  • Hi Elimelech,

Thanks for the feedback. I believe you will need to try reloading USB2ANY firmware on the EVM. I will send you a separate e-mail with instructions on how to do this.

    Regards,

    Michael
