Hi Arunkumar,

Can you clarify what you mean by polarity? Are you asking whether you can invert the polarity on either input or output by routing positive to negative and negative to positive? If so, then yes, it can be done.

Hi Michael,

I am asking *_P and *_N can be swap-able or not?

in datasheet it is mentioned that only output is possible. am i right?

If i am changing the concern register value will it change the output of both the channel?

Hi Arun,

Yes, through register control for each channel, you can invert the polarity of the output. This is intended for the purpose of trace-routing simplicity.

These settings can be controlled individually. In Reg 0xFF, first define which Channel you wish to control, then the value of Reg 0x1F[7] will correspond to the behavior of that channel's driver polarity.
