My customer and I saw that there is a data path ram 80kB in the simplified block.

Could you let us know the purpose of this data path ram?

Hello Jim,

The USB cores require memory for DMA descriptors and endpoint buffers (USB 3.0). The data path RAM is a shared resource with the AHCI and the MCU.

Hi Roberto,

Thank you for your reply.
To my knowledge, TUSB9261 will load the firmware from the external EEPROM to RAM64kB.
So my customer will not use the data path RAM, am I right?
