DS90UB947-Q1: How to set the lvds input format to RGB565

Hi, All

According to the datasheet of DS90UB947, it only accepts 24-bit color (8-bit RGB) with 2 different mapping schemes.

In our case of (4 data lanes )RGB565->DS90UB947->DS90UB940->MIPI CSI UYVY, how should I configure the DS90UB947?

UB947 supports RGB18 or RGB24 based on d/s.

Hello Angus,

The input and output of 947 is OpenLDI, and according to OLDI standard ( refer to: inova-semiconductors.de/.../openldi.pdf), it doesn't support RGB565 pixel format. If you want to use RGB565, you should reformat the data to RGB888 format. Because 940 is HDMI input and it only supports RGB444 and RGB888 according to HDMI standard.

BTW, the 940 only support HDMI input format? but according to the d/s page 65 CSICFG1 register configure, it support the following input format:
Program the input data format in HDMI terminology
00: RGB444
01: YUV422
10: YUV444
11: RAW
