first of all: Happy New Year!
I am looking for a simple solution for an USB port current limiter for an 100mA/500mA! The solution I am looking for should first limit the current to 100mA and after a successful D+D- handshake/negotiation it should support 500mA.
Do we have a part which has this functionality integrated (like a select pin for two different current limits)?
I am not sure if parts like the TPS2552D can be an option, which offers an adjustable current limit?
The customer wants to offer 2 USB ports, so a dual-channel part would also be an option!
