Hello support team,

Please teach me maximum junction temperature (Tjmax) of SN65MLVD205A.
In general, can Tjmax be considered the same as the maximum value of Storage temperature, Tstg?

    Hi,

    The maximum junction temperature is less than the storage temperature.  You can use 125C as the absolute maximum.  However, in practice the device junction should stay well below that number since the power dissipation is quite low. 

    For example:

    Ta = 85C (worst case)

    Power dissipation = 94mW (worst case)

    Tja = 78.9 degrees C/Watt

    Worst case Tj = 85C + 78.9 x 0.094  =  92.41 C
