Dear everyone:

AS it shown in the schematic diagram,

When i use the PASS-THROUGH function ,i set the I2C address through the Analog LaunchPAD as follows.

And when i use the system topology function, we can see the deserilizaer can communicate with serilizer,but can't discern the CTP IC,asfollowing picture show.

And when go back to see the resister value ,the 0X0007 and the 0x0008 value changed, i don't know that is why?

1)Why the resister value changed?

2)I have set the 0X0003 resister value 0XDA,but it can't realize PASS-THROUGH function,what can i do now?

Hi,
do you use UB929 or UB925? from the register mapping, it is noted as UB925, but you also show the other register map based on UB929 which has HDMI setting.
for i2c access in your block diagram, you can try to use register setting or scripting setting, the i2c pass through setting is correct.

Firstly ,I use DS90UB929Q + DS90UB924Q，and the ALP software show as follows . The device communicate sucessful.I check the I2C signal value use oscilloscope,

the data is right ,but why the 0x07 resister value changed ?

Second ,the resister value is right , why the i2c pass-through function don't work?

Hi Buick,
the slave address register (0x07) can be updated automatically once the link is build-up.
to use the remote I2C access, you can use below I2C pass-through refer code:

Set I2C Pass-through (SER 0x03[1]1’b
Set SlaveID0 (SER 0x070x0A) (example: slave I2C address is 0x0A based on IDX setting)
Set SlaveAlias (SER 0x080x0A)
Read/Write to Slave using address 0x0A

Dear Steven：

Our team want to use the MCU to send I2C data to the Deserializer ,and then use PASS-THROUGH function to send I2C data to the serializer ,can we realize this operation?
