WEBENCH® Tools/SN65HVD255: SN65HVD255 IBIS Model

Part Number: SN65HVD255

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi team,

My customer is meeting a problem that IBIS model of SN65HVD255 isn't convergent.

I have uploaded their simulation file, could you please kindly help to check out the reason?

Thanks!

  • Susan,
We're working with webench team for debug. We will get back to you shortly.
    Regards,
    Hao
  • Susan,

We used HyperLynx to run IBIS model and didn't see any issue.

Can you check what software your customer used? And how they set up the bench? Thanks!

  • Hi Hao,

    Thanks to your answer.

The software my customer used is Sigxp.

I have uploaded their simulation error Log, please kindly help to check the error. Any specific information needed, feel free to let me know.

    Thank you !

  • Susan,

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with this tool. But after reviewing the log, it looks like this is more like a setup issue. Can you get more information about the simulation setup? Here is mine for your reference.

They can also try the two suggestions the tools gave: 1) try the switch '-BhvrTransientModifyNewtonOff'; 2) adding big resistors to ground and cap between nodes. Usually it's not helpful to leave any node undefined in the simulator.

    Regards,

    Hao
