Are there any external circuit for TSD latch OFF? They are considering the reset is when a power supply is re-turned on.

Hi, I apologize if the explanation was hard to understand.
When the output short condition occurred, the IC will be into thermal cycling. But they want the IC will be latched off. They are looking for any solution like using external circuit and fault signal. Are there any solutions?

Note: Their application is only DCP function which uses DC/DC and TPS2549-Q1. They can't control EN of the IC by MCU, because there is no MCU on the board.

I am now thing whether we can use a Schmitt trigger to disable TPS2549 once it is current limited. but I need to build a circuit and have some tests. Is it Ok that I give you feedback by February 2rd ? Because it will take me one week to get some free samples from ti.com.
