TDP142: Can the lanes be used individually?

For the TDP142 can the lanes be used individually? For instance can I use 1 part for qty 4 1 lane display ports?

This is not clear to me, can you share more details about your application? You can use one lane, two lanes, or 4 lanes in this device. But if you are using one lane, the other lanes can't be used.

Hi Francisco,
I apologize for the vagueness of the question. The customer was a bit sparse with the details...

With that being said, they are trying to send data to 4 different locations. So 1 lane would be used for each individual data stream going to 4 monitors. Can this be done would it require 4x TSP142? If it can't be done, can you recommend a chip to accomplish this?

Do you mean that you have 4 different soureces and you want to send different data for each channel? and you wil have 4 different sinks? What is the TSP142?

I meant the TPD142... My mistake. And there would be 4 lanes, each going to a different downstream port (sink not source).
