In search of DP 2 lane redriver.

Hi TI team,

I have requirement from one of the customer for DP 2 lane as Sink/TX.

Can you suggest how it can be done. Is dat enough connecting the 2 pairs of lines out of 4 pairs directly to FPGA from the DP connector?
Or should i use any redriver in between? are there any redriver available only for 2 lane DP?

If we connect only 2 lane of DP pins what should do with the rest two lane(should remain kept as NC?).

You can try with the SN75DP119 (RGY package)

I also wanted to know how it can be interfaced between DP connector and Processor.

Is there any reference schematics available for the same.

SN75DP130 might be a better choice. SN75DP119 seems targeted at eDP and doesn't support 5.4Gbps.

If i use SN75DP130; can i keep the remaining 2 lane as NC.

Or i need to go for other redriver IC supporting only 2 lane DP?

Hi Ananthesh,

Yes, you can use SN75DP130 and leave the unused lanes floating.
