DP83822EVM: Compliance Test for 100Base Test pattern

Hello,

my customer is trying to generate test pattern with the DP83822 for the 100Base but there is no decryption in the Datasheet how to activate this. There is only a decryption for 10Base.

Could You please comment on that?

    Hi Adrian,

    It depends on what your test pattern is being used for. If you want to transmit arbitrary data, please use the PRBS function. Please see that function in the DP83822 datasheet. To get the PRBS pattern to transmit, the DP83822 needs to be linked up OR forced to 100M speed.
