Hello,

Do we have the EVM for SN65C1168? I saw post here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface/industrial_interface/f/142/t/478825?tisearch=e2e-quicksearch&keymatch=SN65C1168

So just wanted to have an update from you in case something has changed since that point.

Customer needs EVM for SN65C1168 to be used as a dual RS-422 interface to an external peripheral.

In case we do not have exactly that EVM could you please recommend me something similar?

Unfortunately there is no EVM available for SN65C1168 so far. If using a bread board is not an option, you might use two single channel half duplex RS485 EVM for system evaluation. Single channel RS485 transceivers have very similar electrical characteristics as SN651168, like SN75LBC176. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Indeed Customer would like to avoid to use the breadboard.
And prefer to use 2 EVM RS-422 or 4 EVM RS-485 and replce the transceiver with faster ICs like SN65C1168. Could you please recommend me any available RS422 or RS485 single channel EVM? Thanks, FAX

Your customer can use this half duplex EVM board (www.ti.com/.../RS485-HF-DPLX-EVM) with 8pin SOIC devices. 8pin SOIC is the most popular package for RS485 transceivers. If you have any questions about the board, please let me know.
