Hi dear supporting team,

customer want to get all the regs setting needed of below two working mode for SN65DP159:

1. as HDMI retimer

2. DP retimer

could you pls help provide it? tks a lot!

    Hi Vera,

    The SN65DP159 is designed as a DP++ to HDMI retimer / redriver. It does not function as a HDMI retimer.

    There is an application note that describes the requirements for using the SN65DP159 as a DP to DP retimer. Please be aware that this mode requires an FPGA or similar to actively check and set the regsiters: www.ti.com/.../slla358.pdf
