Hi Team,

 

Will the DS90UB953 serializer support 2 cameras (each dual lane), each with 2 lane MIPI transferring 1Mpixel at 120FPS?

I says 2Mpix@60FPS and 4Mpix@30 so it seems right but I would like to get an answer

    Hi Shlomi,

    The 953 serializer is intended for use with a single camera or other CSI-2 input.

    While the number of CSI-2 data lanes is selectable, a CSI-2 input also includes a clock lane and the 953 allows only a single clock lane.

    For this sort of system, the general configuration we would recommend is each camera connected to a serializer which are then input to a deserializer hub such as the DS90UB954-Q1 (see picture).
