DP83822I: link loss recovery, fast link down mode

Hi~ 

Customer use DP83822I with ET1100(beckhoff) controller.

Most concern is link loss reaction time and to cover 10us link loss recovery, what is proper setting for CR1 or CR3 register?

(CR1 register #7bit, link loss recovery setting) or (CR3 register #3:0 register setting), which is right way? (or both needed???)

    Hi,

    Fast Link Drop can be enabled using Hardware strap or register configuration. Refer to datasheet for HW straps ( FLD_EN).

    CR1 bit 7 is to disable the fast link drop and continue link condition.

    CR3 : bit#10, bit#3:0 are needed to configure various detection reason for fast link drop.
