Hello-

APB stands for "Advanced Peripheral Bus". In the DS90UB949-Q1 and DS90UH949-Q1, the APB interface complies to the APB protocol specification and is used to access HDMI control registers and EDID SRAM. In the DS90UB947-Q1 and DS90UH947-Q1, the interface does not comply to the HDMI APB protocol and is used to access device Die ID and device configurations (indirect hidden registers).

There is no need to enable APB register interface in the DS90UB947-Q1.
