TPS2068: TPS2068 - Reverse current protection

HI,

We are planning to Use TPS2068 for switching ON/OFF of 3.3V based on a 12V enable .

Please see the below circuit .

The input V3P3_BP need to be switched to output if the V12P0 is 0 at the Enable . When 12V is present the switch should be off and there should not be any reverse current / voltage that should come from the out to In .
also can i leave the OC pin floating
is this ckt ok for my applaication

Eby,

The OC pin is an open drain output, so it is possible to leave it floating; however, the specified connection is to have a pull-up to a DC rail.

Thanks for your reply .

So it will be better to tie the OC pin to DC rail right ?

Also , If there is some voltage at the output with the switch closed ,it will not interfere with the input voltage right .

We had had experience with some Chips where the output voltage would come reverse to the input .

Wired the circuit on a PCB and tested it and found to be working satisfactorily
The OC pin was left open
