My customer is evaluating DP83849I and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

I am evaluating DP83849I.

At that time, 215ms after power up, traismit data is interrupted among 26.5us.

(1) Is this a spec of the device?

(2) What is the reason?

(3) Could you please tell measures.

Hi Shinichi,

Does this occur on every power up? Is it consistent with cable length and link partner? Have you tried other link partners?

This appears to be unusual behavior, but I want to know how it impacts your system.

I confirmed the customer.

Could you please see below and advise.

1. The phenomenon is observed by all of my confirmed board.

2. It occurs every time.

3.The cable length is less than 1m.

4.Regardless of link partner, even if the device is standalone it happen.

Can you give me a register dump of the PHY at power up?

Does this make the link drop?

Is the PHY in forced link mode?

What problem is being caused by this behavior?
