ISO5500: ISO5500 IBIS MODELS

Part Number: ISO5500

Hi All,

is it possible to have the IBIS models for ISO5500 device? We need them in order to simulate the device in our system

Please let me know if it is possible or alternatively if you can provide other models

Regards

  • Hi Pietro,

Unfortunately, we never released models for this device.

In addition to the information in the d/s, we also have an EVM which can be used as a reference for your design.

If you have any further questions, please let us know!

  • Hi Don,

sorry but this does not resolve my problem. I need to perform simulation of your device in a board of ours
and for that reason I really do not use the EVM. Infact the EVM does not implement a circuit similar to ours.
What do you suggest in order to simulate your device in a context different from the EVM.

  • Hi Pietro,

We are investigating this further. I hope to have more information in a day or two.
  • Hi Pietro,

ISO5500 is an old part that we released 10 years back, and we don't have an IBIS model for it. I would recommend you to consider to use ISO5852S which is a newly released isolated gate driver with similar functions as ISO5500 but with more advanced implementations for new designs. ISO5852S comes with both SPICE and IBIS models. If you are using ISO5500 in your system now, we can always discuss for specifics.

    With Regards,
