TUSB1046A-DCI: Ethernet(MDI) via Alternate Mode

Hello,

we want to use the TUSB1046 to realize a USB type-C Port including the Alternate Mode. The Alternate Mode should provide a Ethernet connecton(MDI Media Dependent Interface from PHY).

Is TUSB1046 the right device for this Job? If not, which device would be the best for this job?

Hi Till,

It seems that the TUSB1046A does not meet your requirements. Could you provide more information about your application (voltage levels, data rate, etc.)? If the characteristics are into out re-drivers specs, we could recommend a specific device.

Hello Luis, thanks for your reply. We decided to use a usb to ethernet Bridge to provide Ethernet at the ufp.
