ISO35: ISO35DWR

Thanks for contacting us on E2E. I'm not quite sure I understand the issue you are reporting. We do not have a tin finish on the ISO35DWR. I've marked up page 23 of the ISO35 datasheet and attached it below. 

Please let me know if I have misunderstood your issue.

Hi Dan,

I mean, the surface is burst and copper can be seen (underneath)

So we can not soldered according to IPC-A-610 8.3.5.6

In the meantime I was wondering if you could answer a question: was there an attempt to solder the devices and it failed, or was soldering not attempted after visual inspection?

Sorry Jacques,

I should have communicated that better: I meant do you have a picture of the failing soldering. The reason I ask is we want to see how the device is failing to be soldered. Is it not making any connection? Is the connection weak? Is the solder not wicking up the lugs as it should? We believe a picture would be one of the better ways to analyze this issue.
