TUSB522P: IBIS-AMI model, DE and EQ function

Hello team,

My cusotmere performed transmission simulation using TUSB522P IBIS-AMI model and HyperLynx, assuming 3m usb cable with PRBS 5Gbps. However, DE and EQ doesn't seem to function, because they couldn't see differences among several DE, EQ settings.

Do you know why EQ and DE didn't function?

Is any additional setting required?

Do we need any other additional module like .dll file and so on?

Or, is it TUSB522P IBIS-AMI model issue?

Have you ever performed the simulation with using HyperLynx?

    Hi Taketo,

    Sorry for the delayed response. The IBIS-AMI models that TI provides have been simulated in ADS software (by Agilent). In my understanding these models have not been simulated in HyperLynx tool. My recommendation is simulate this model in ADS to verify the correct behavior of the model for this device.
