DP83822H: fiber and RJ45 support at same time

hi all,

Does our DP83822H can support fiber and RJ45 at the same time by one part? I mean connect the 2 kind of port at the same time and switch by the device?

or does we have this kind of device?

    Hello Robin,

    DP83822 is a single port ethernet PHY which can support RJ-45 or Fiber at one time. Hardware modifications would be needed to switch from RJ-45 to Fiber.

    We do have DP83849IF which has two ports and has fiber ethernet. One of the ports can be RJ-45 and other can be configured to Fiber. It also supports Flexible MII port management which allows user to switch between ports (RJ-45 and Fiber in this case).
