DS32EL0421: DS32EL0421, 9 and 10 pins of DE_EMPH setting method

Hello team,

My customer has a question about DS32EL0421 9 and 10 pins of DE_EMPH.
Would y ou please advise?

Q1) What is the resister value of the internal pull-down in 9 and 10 pins of DS32EL0421?
Q2) Is DS32EL0421 set to "00=off" condition when 9 and 10 pins are not set (float)?
Q3) Can 9 and 10 pins of DS32EL0421 be connected to 3.3V directly?

Woudl you please advise?

Hello Tamazaki-san,

Sorry for the late reply.
1. The information regarding the value of the internal pull down resistor is not available.
2. Yes; when DE_EMPH0, DE_EMPH1 are left open, it selects 00: off.
3. Yes; you can connect DE_EMPH0, DE_EMPH1 to 3.3V if you want them to be high.

You're welcome! Regrading #3, I want to add that while it is OK to connect to 3.3V directly, it is recommended to use a pull up resistor (may be ~1k ohm) if possible to reduce the current drawn on that input.
