TUSB211: Inquire TUSB211 can't detect low speed device with hot plug in S0

Hi Sir,

 

May I have your help to TUSB211 application issue?

 

Please refer the below D+/D- normal and abnormal waveform, we find if we use low speed device to do the hot plug several times, the system will random can’t detect the low speed device, and this issue only happened at the USB port with TUSB211.

 

Could you give us some comments about D- waveform in the abnormal waveform when the USB port can’t detect the low speed device?

 

Normal(USB can detect low speed device)

Abnormal(USB can’t detect low speed device)

    This could happen if the boost setting is too high and the low speed device causes noise during plug in. Please Lower the boost setting and try. Try 212 device which rejects noise better than 211.

    The noise spike will be larger with higher boost. Lower boost will decrease the noise. We recommend use the lowest possible boost just to pass the eye diagram and not over boost.
