Hi,

Our company is in the process of designing a Kiosk for one of our customers.

The processor we have chosen has a MIPI DSI interface and the display has a LVDS interface. We are planning on using your SN65DSI84 DSI to Dual-Link LVDS Bridge IC to interface the processor and the LVDS display panel. To evaluate this design we will be purchasing a SN65DSI85EVM evaluation kit.

The HDR-128291-XX breakout board mentioned in the EVM User’s Manual is not suitable for us as we do not require SMA connections. Could you please provide information on any other breakout boards or cables we could use to connect DSI source (to EVM J4) and LVDS panel (to EVM J6).

The DSI source Application processor side connector is -

That is the only breakout board we have built. However, currently, there are no boards available we can only send you the design files for your reference.

Also are there any guide lines on how to make this cable, if we chose to get the mating connector (QTH-020-01-H-D-DP-A) and solder wires to it ?

I ask this because the EVM user guide mentions the following.
