Linux/DS90UB960-Q1: Availability of v4l2 media i2c driver

Part Number: DS90UB960-Q1

Tool/software: Linux

Hi,

We are using the DS90UB960-Q1 chip in of our custom boards we have designed for an automotive infotainment platform running Linux. We will be interfacing multiple camera's for a ADAS solution. We would like to know if Linux media I2C driver is available for this chip.

  • UB964Hi Hari,

Now we have no driver for FPD-Link devices, including UB960. In Jacinto's platform, it also uses Linus firmware, our processor team can combine UB960's register setting into the drive-layer. also can program the registers flexible based on different system application request.

as you know, UB960 has many functions which can be configured through registers. so the processor engineer should initialize our UB960's registers based on system design requests through I2C I/f in the processor's driver-layer. thanks.

For the detailed registers setting in real case, we have one ref. script in the UB964/UB960 EVM user guide paper.

    best regards,

    Steven
