TLK100 question

HI,

 

In the application note of the TLK100 , they mention a LAN ethernet HX1188 or H1102 . do you know if we need to implement it ? do you have more information about it ?

thay plan to use a J0011D21BNL *** RJ45 connector . is it ok to use it wth the TLK100 ? do you recommends others parts ?

    Hello Mickael,

    The reason we recomanded to use Pulse HX1188 or H1102 is because we used this parts in all validation process of the TLK100.

    In other words: The IEEE compliance results and the system performance specified in the datasheet is valid only when using the recomanded transformers.

    Despite of what was written above J0011D21BN schematics is equivalent  to our HX1188 or H1102 and therfore  it should work fine.

    Please be aware that we never tested TLK100 with J0011D21BN and therfore we cant tell anything about the performance.

    In addition, the HX1188 transformer supported industrial temperature (-40c - +85c) and J0011D21BNL  supporting only (0-70c).
