Hi,

The datasheet calls out safety certification for IEC6601 does this also cover ES60601?

    Hi Jake,

    Thanks for asking about this certification on E2E. Our component certification is limited to specific insulation-related clauses of IEC 60601-1. The equipment manufacturer has to certify the whole system through the regulatory agency. We don’t intend to get any additional certification at component-level but the equipment manufacturer can have the agency review our existing component-level certification and evaluate whether it meets the requirements of ES 60601-1 as well.

    Thanks Dan,

    More curious on whether the device meets the basics of the spec.

    i.e. it looks the creepage/clearance/internal distance are built to meet whats needed to get IEC60601 do you know if this holds true for ES60601. I imagine the specs are similar if not identical but I don't have access to them to verify.

    Unfortunately we do not currently have access to the ES60601 standard so I cannot comment on creepage/clearance/internal distance specifications of the ES60601 standard.
