DS100MB203: can I use TI device into my application?

Hi,

We consider TI's DS100MB203 MUX for below structure, and wonder whether we don't need any additional retimer or repeater when using DS100MB203.

If yes, please recommend a better product among DS100MB203 and DS125MB203.

(at TI website, the only difference is Peripheral I/O and could you also explain about this function if possible?)

If no, please recommend a suitable TI repeater or retimer device can be used with DS100MB203.

Hi TS,

The MB203 should be okay in this application. The mux-buffer will work best if the attenuation between the Broadcom Qumran switch and the MB203 is ~ 12 dB

Either the DS100 or DS125 will work,

Hi TS,
The datapaths are equivalent, however the DS125 version has a slightly different test program.
