Hello,

Let me confirm about below.

* According to datasheet of DS90UB914A, DS90UB914A can check parity error for forward channel error.

However, it seems that this parity error function is for all forward channel data not only video data but also i2c.

Is there any other function which can detect only error of video data ?

Are you referring to the forward channel parity on registers 0x1A/0x1B?

This monitors the parallel video/sync data across the serial link.

Yes, I checked above registers.

According to description of these registers, "Number of parity errors in the Forward channel during normal operation" is described.

So, I believed when one of bit error of video/sync data or i2c data happen, register value will count up.

However, according to your comment, it seems that parity bit is for only video/sync data. So when bit error of i2c data of forward channel happen, these register values will NOT count up right ?

Just to clarify, the parity error is based on all the forward channel data bits in the frame except the FPD-Link encoding bits.
