TUSB8043: Programming external EEPROM

Hello,

we made a design with the TUSB8043, it works perfect. But we have in one downstream a layout-mistake (switched Dp/Dn). I've seen in the datasheet that this two signals can be switched with a bit in the registers. We have the fallback-EEPROM in the layout provided.

Now i'm looking for a tool to program this chip through the HID-to-I2C bridge. Alternatively a default datadump of the eeprom would be very helpful. In that case, i can change the concerning bit and program the chip externally.

Where can i download this tool?

Thank you for the files.

The Tool works and detects the Hub. But i cannot programm any byte. I've checked the board again, there is everything fine. The EEPROM is correct connected, the pullups (SDA/SCL and SMBUSz) are placed (referring the datasheet, this is the condition to enable the I2C-EEPROM). I looked with a scope on SDA/SCL, there is no traffic when i click on read in the tool. There is no traffic at all from power on, so the Hub does not check if valid data is in the EEPROM present.

What is my mistake?

now i've programmed the EEPROM in an external prommer. This solved our layout bug :-)
