Hi Team,

  My customer is using MAXIM MAX3292, and THVD1552 is newest 485 devices, but I checked that THVD1552 don't have PEE/PSET pin, I'm wondering if you have more suitable devices? thanks.

    Hi Randy,

    The pre-emphasis function is generally used to help extend the range of a link. Can you please let us know the data rate and cable length/type for your application? We can then check if THVD1552 may be suitable. Also, although we do not have any devices featuring transmitter pre-emphasis, the SN65HVD24/5 features receiver equalization, a similar feature. You may want to check those devices to see if they are a good fit for you.
