[ DS90UB964-Q1 ] CML Output Eye Requirement

Hi,

My customer has used multiple DS90UB914A-Q1 on board for their production unit. Now they are moving ahead with DS90UB964-Q1 for the future unit.
As it will be a direct replacement from 4 x DS90UB914A-Q1 to DS90UB964-Q1, it's assumed that similar receiver signal integrity should be required.

We compare the requirements on CMLOUT signal, few differences, such as typical and minimum difference, no Eh specification.
Can you help to clarify the requirement?

Hello,
Keep in mind the CMLOUT is only meant for identifying gross signal conditioning issues during debug and typically not used during normal operation.
And the eye height is not a critical parameter, it is the width since that is indicative of the total jitter in the path.
