DS90UB927QEVM: driver problems

Dear Community, dear TI-Team,

We brought DS90UB927QEVM and DS90UB928QEVM to extend LVDS LCD 24 bit signal over FPD-III Link. I was unsuccessful to establish the link and tried first to connect the DS90UB927QEVM to ALP Analog LaunchPad Software to generate a test pattern. Unfortunately I was unable to install the driver for „NSC USB NANO“ device (appears in device manager after DS90UB927QEVM plugged in). I’m using Windows XP and tried to specify the path of the driver after installing Analog LaunchPad Software from “C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\Analog LaunchPAD v1.57.0010\Drivers” but Windows failed to install the driver. Could you please help me?

    If windows is seeing NSC USB NANO device (under other devices) means power is there for the onboard MCU but driver is not installed. Please follow steps below for driver installation:
    a) Click on the Help drop down option (on the left) in ALP
    b) Select "ALP Help"
    c) In the ALP popup, select "Driver Installation"
    d) Scroll down and follow "Installing NSC USB NANO driver" to install appropriate driver (Cypress CyUSB driver) for the win7 (your XP) environment. There's a reference guide with steps to force Windows to use the cycusb3.sys driver with the device. Also, choose "Cypress EZ-USB FX1 No EEPROM Device" as the device driver.

    After install, in ALP Devices you will see "ALP Nano USB 1" and "DS90UB927" under it. If you see some other profile like "DS90UB914", then under Tools go to "EEPROM Setup" and choose "DS90UB927" instead of "DS90UB914". Now in information tab, you should see UB927 device information and also able read/write registers from registers tab.
